You are the Gift

I am grateful that we had the opportunity to stay with a local family. It really helped with the cultural immersion and we have learned a lot from them. The members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have also had a big influence on our journey here in Rwanda. From the very first time we went to church, they welcomed us and made us feel at home. Ever since we have been able to feel at home and have attended many church activities. These activities, including family home evening, invitations to members homes for lunch and dinner and others have really made our stay in Rwanda incredible. We would not have had the cultural immersion that we did without the church members. I am grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and for the wonderful church members in Kigali 1st branch.
