Lake Kivu is so beautiful. Our house was right on the lake and it was magnificent. We had breakfast in the morning then we just chilled until noon when we went on a boat tour. The boat took us to different islands in Lake Kivu, it was a two to three-hour tour. We hiked one of the islands and you couldn’t even see the end of the lake, it was massive. Then we went to another island to swim, I don’t swim but the other interns had fun swimming in the lake. It was one of the funniest things we’ve done so far.
